I’m Lorenzo Rivetti

I didn’t grow up in this business. I discovered it.

At 25, working inside an artisanal down production company with more than 50 years of experience, I realised something unexpected: extraordinary craftsmanship often remains invisible.

Inside the workshop, I saw rare materials, precise hands, and decades of technical knowledge. Outside, I saw a market that barely understood what makes a high-quality duvet different.

That’s where The Piumino Guy began.

Not as a reseller. Not as a marketing layer.

But as a dedicated line of products developed specifically for an international audience: designed, calibrated, and structured to meet different climates, different habits, and different expectations.

I didn’t change the craftsmanship. I translated it.

Through social media and direct communication, I opened the doors of a traditional artisanal reality and gave it a new language: clear, direct, modern.

The goal was simple: bring truly handcrafted Italian quality beyond the workshop, so more people can understand it, choose it, and sleep inside it.

Because once you know what you’re sleeping in, you stop choosing casually.
And you start choosing intentionally.
